Painting
Instructions for our Unfinished CornHole Board Sets:
1.
Tools needed
·
Sandpaper
·
Paint Brush
·
½ gallon of primer (Kilz Brand)
·
½ gallon of finish paint – High Gloss
Interior/Exterior (Glidden Brand)
·
Damp Cloth
2. Directions
- Paint
both the tops and sides of both cornhole boards with a good primer. We recommend Kilz brand primer.
- After
the primer has dried, sand the tops of both boards with very fine
sandpaper. Sand the tops just
enough to smooth the surface out so it will be ready to finish
- Once
you have finished sanding, take a damp cloth and remove any dust that may
have collected on the surface or top of the boards.
- Then
apply whatever color of paint that you would like to the cornhole board surface and
sides. We highly recommend HIGH GLOSS paint. We use Glidden brand (interior/exterior)
from Home Depot. Depending on the
color this step may take 2 coats.
- We
have learned that one set of Cornhole Boards.
requires about a half gallon of primer and about a half gallon of finish. This will help your Cornhole Bags slide better.
